Product information "SuCor Protect"
SuCor Protect G10 is a temporary corrosion inhibitor specifically developed for corroding steel molds and tools, designed for injection molds. Free of chlorine, sulfur, and water.
Application
SuCor Protect G10 can be used as a temporary rust protection film, release agent for gaskets or seals on container closures, and as a lubricant for machine parts and accessories. It is also used as a lubricant for moving parts made of metal, glass, ceramic, wood, and plastic, or in cable assembly. Since SuCor Protect G10 is silicone-free, the parts can be subjected to subsequent post-treatment such as printing, bonding, painting, etc. Processing temperature up to 180°C.
Instructions for Use
Spray evenly onto the cleaned, dry metal surface from a distance of approximately 30 cm to create a continuous film. After spraying, a very thin film with excellent release properties forms. For storage, SuCor Protect G10 can be applied to molds that are still heated (<100°C) immediately after removal. Do not apply too thickly to avoid the active ingredients running off and thus tearing the protective film.
Properties
After spraying, SuCor Protect G10 forms a fine, transparent protective film with excellent corrosion-inhibiting properties once the propellant and thinner have evaporated. This allows molds or workpieces to remain corrosion-free for up to several years, for example, when stored indoors. In the plastics processing industry, molds protected with SuCor G10 do not require extensive prior cleaning before reuse, as the protective film is automatically removed when the mold is heated, creating a simultaneous release effect. The active ingredients are biodegradable and do not contain any mineral oil components.
